I've added some example comparison videos below with examples for each game showing just what modding can do to these games to really enhance the experience. I've recently picked up Final Fantasy VIII on my PC via Game Pass as it's me fave, likely because it was my first Final Fantasy that I played back on the PS1.Īnyway, my suggestion/request for Microsoft & Game Pass is to please consider adding (modding) capabilities to VII, VIII and IX since there is a very committed and passionate modding community out there who simply put in so much work to make these games so much more than what Square originally offered. So far I'm absolutely loving the ecosystem that Microsoft have created here with Game Pass, it's simply perfect for me as a PC and Console player. Just quickly, I'm a first time Xbox & Game Pass owner with the Series X.
